p50 reporting

The GEM blood gas analzyer states that p50 should be a sample of a true mixed blood specimen. Because of the difficulty of utilizing a PAC, is anyone else using a venous specimen from an arm draw? If so, are you putting a disclaimer on the report or how are you reporting this?

Said: No. The only tie to an antigen kit is related to a 'test to treat'. That adheres to only using the kit for symptomatics and within a prescriptive 7 days only. And even then we are not allowing self-collecting or self-testing.
