Lot Numbers - Enter/Edit in Epic

Does anyone else record lot#s in Enter/Edit in Epic for manual POC tests? If so, I'm guessing you work with your Epic team to update the test component with new lots so that the field is not free text?

Any pros/cons?

Has anyone performed a validation on the BD Veritor for Covid? If so, what kind of material did you use, patient samples, proficiency samples, QC? Thank you!

Inform II / Cobas pregnancy and fecal occult entry

Is anyone using Roche's Inform II glucometers for entry of fecal occult and pregnancy test results? I have read through the Cobas user documentation for these features and am very curious about them; the documentation doesn't provide a lot of details.

Does Cobas manage lot numbers for those tests? Or do users have to hand-type test kit lot numbers into the devices for every single test? If Cobas can manage the lot numbers and users only have to select a result, that could be...
