small CBC analyzer
Hello everyone! We are going to be opening an urgent care section in one of our clinics and I am looking for suggestions on CBC analyzers for a small volume. I already found the Sysmex, but are there any other good ones out there I should look at?
thanks,
Shawn

What is your hemolysis acceptability criteria?
Hello everyone, do you know what is the acceptability criteria for hemolysis in your hospital based on the hemolysis index?, there are some guides from the CDC stating that less than 100 is OK for testing and acceptability. Do any of your Labs have added the hemolysis index to the results? I found an article that recommends adding the index to the results.

Said: We have our waived testing under TJC and our non-waived testing under CAP. I'd be interested in a formal comparison too. Thanks in advance.

CAP vs TJC formal CE presentation or comparison
Hello!
Anyone know of any CE's or formal comparisons between CAP and TJC for lab (I am specifically interested this for Point of Care)?
While digging through very old paperwork, I found a PowerPoint from 2007 that compared key differences between the two agencies. However, I am looking for a more recent comparison.
A quick google search didn't reveal much.
Thanks,
Randi
