Said: We do an electronic chart review to compare CoaguChek results to lab results every 6 months. We can usually find a range of values. This process checks the method as a whole; we do not check each analyzer.

CoaguChek XS Pro

Hello,

Just wondering how other facilities using the CoaguChek XS Pro validate their meters that are currently in use. Do you run patient comparisons against the lab analyzers? Every six months? Or only when a new meter is placed into use? Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to clarify our procedures.
