ACT testing in the Cath Lab

What analyzer(s) do you use for ACT testing in the Cath lab? We are currently using the Hemochron Signature Plus with the ISTAT as a back up. Being a pediatric hospital, the Hemochron can be problematic because of high hematocrits. It also seems to fluctuate. The docs do not like the ISTAT for ACT testing.

We use the Hemochron Elite for ACT testing, but we typically only have 4-8 peds cases a month and haven’t seen an issue with Hematocrit.
