How do you handle documenting Room Temperature in departments that are closed on weekends and holidays?

We use a digital MIN/MAX thermometer. It tells you if the room temperature fell outside of the range you set as acceptable. Then they would have to run QC on all tests stored in that room.
What about offsite clinics that turn off the air/heat on the weekends when not open? We have a clinic that does moderate testing but does not keep cartridges
out at RT on the weekends. But, min/max temps would still be out. Any thoughts? Thanks

If no reagents are kept at room temperature over the weekend, then it does not matter what the temperature is. Write it into your policy that no reagents are kept out over the weekend. Then I would just write "unit closed" on the days that no one is there. The room temperature only matters if you are storing reagents.
If they are stored in the refrigerator, you would need to keep the temperature of the refrigerator over the weekend using either a continuous monitor, or a MIN/MAX thermometer.
Our lab refrigerator (REVCO) has a graphing mechanism. A quick glance at the graph reveals if the temp was out of range. Whatever your practice is, it should be addressed in your policy.
Min/Max thermometers for our lab freezer or a refrigerator equipped with temperature graphing.
We use remote temp sensors that can be at room temperature or refrigerated/frozen. Works very well.
