POC Ketone testing with urine

Does anyone know of a POC test just for ketones on urine? My OB triage department wants to measure ketones only for dehydrated pregnant patients but doesn't want to have do maintenance and QC for the urine dipsticks to test for only that one analyte or have to wait an hour for the results for the lab.

There are single test dipsticks for ketones. Try typing ketosticks in a search engine. We do not use them as an  POC test but occasionally I find them in a drawer in a unit. Of course I have to immediately confiscate them since we do not support them. Sigh...

Keto sticks are the only ones I know of outside of the traditional UA chemsticks/multistix that include ketones.

Considering ketones are the only test of interest, I think the best fit is just to allow manual dipping and interpretation of Ketostix.  They'll still have some QC frequency required (of course) and the advantage of the automated strip readers is mostly for multiple-analyte dip sticks, like MultiStix 10SG, where it's difficult to get consistent quality due to the varying test-read times.  I'd agree a machine reader is overkill for one test, but it's still not going to get them away from QC completely.
