Clinitek Status Connect Controls

What controls do you use with your Status Connect and do you use the barcode reader to scan them? We use the Quantimetrix controls, but when scanning the barcode for the control lot, it pulls the lot and expiration date all in the same line, and then staff still have to manually enter the expiration date. When I called technical support, they said that there was no way to change this.

You can have the Clinitek truncate a certain number of characters on the end when you scan lot number. But you would still have to enter the expiration date manually next screen. Unfortunately the Clinitek can only parse lot# and exp date if the barcode is in a certain format and Quantimetrix controls do not follow this format.
