A couple questions

Hello All

I have couple questions.

• 1. Is any of the facilities using ReadyLance lancets (23G 1.8mm) on newborns and neonates? If so , any issues?


• 2. How are we meeting the below requirement? COM.04200 Instrument/Equipment Record Review Phase II Instrument and equipment maintenance and function check records are reviewed and assessed at least monthly by the laboratory director or designee. If you are the designee who performs the review, is the Medical Director still reviewing it at regular interval?


• 3. What are the POC lab regulations regarding release of critical values and repeating them if necessary? Are the results being held in your POC data management system until you review them? Or everything is crossing and the repeats are being credited later?
