New iSTAT Validation

Hi Everyone!
Our lab went form CAP to JC accreditation and we just learned that a "full validation" is not required for a new iSTAT. I'm a little confused with this new process because before we were required to do a whole validation for new instruments.
Is anyone out there, accredited by JC, willing to share the validation process for the iSTAT?
