If you are using the Cholestech LDX can you please provide me with some feedback. Is there any other cholesterol POC device out there?

We use the Cholestech LDX at the evening free clinic where I volunteer. It is easy to use and results compare with the main lab analyzer. We use fingerstick sampling so the patients like it. It is a small table top. Not portable. It is Waived test. We went through a few of them because we have to move them all the time since we just share a space with the regular day clinic. So we have been keeping the instrument in a box when we are done using it. The internal battery does not like to be unplugged for a long time until we realized that and we asked if we can have a dedicated space for it. So now it is working good.
I worked with Cardiochek PA. It is easy to use. Portable. It look like a small handheld glucose meter. It takes 40 ul. You can use either a capillary tube with a plunger or a premeasured pipet to place the sample in the meter. We use it at Health Fairs and we use fingerstick samples.
We use it for health fairs. The patients like it, though it has a long TAT of 5 minutes. The results are pretty accurate.
