iSTAT chemistry cartridge IQCP

I'm a fairly new POCC and up to this point all of my tests have been waived. Due to the Abbott mess I will have to change 2 locations to the moderate complexity iSTAT cartridges (I'm thinking CG8 and EG6). I've never written an IQCP before. Would anyone be willing to share theirs just so I have a bit of a road map? I know that I will have to individualize anything to my locations specific environment/Risk Assesment, etc, but just seeing something would help. The only IQCPs our main lab has are for H Pylori and Fecal Leucocytes, so it isn't really the same.

Thank you!

Thank you!!

There are also risk assessments on the abbott POC website specific to each cartridge. You can modify them to fit your needs.

Kerri - Where? I've looked around and I see their general IQCP section, but I didn't see anything specific to analytes.

Thank you,

jill

Check this sites file cabinet.

Jill,

I can’t find the template now either. They may have removed it after the announcement last week. Contact your sales rep to see if they can help. Most manufacturers now have an IQCP template. I feel your pain, I started in POC a few months before IQCP’s were implemented.

Good luck! Kerri

Jill, did you get what you needed?  I can send you my IQCP for ISTAT if you want.

David - Rhonda was kind enough to send me her IQCP, but if you would also share that would be great - more examples are better than fewer.

Can one of you send me an example of your IQCP as well? I'd like to change the format of mine and would love to see what others look like. Danyel.olson@childrensmn.org

Thanks!

Me too!
