Nova StatStrip Lactate meter - reference range starting point

We are establishing the use of the Nova StatStrip Lactate meter in our micro-hospital settings, to migrate away from the iSTAT CG4+ cartridge. Has anyone been able to establish an arterial and a venous reference range that we could use as a starting point for developing our own? Nova's guidance doesn't differentiate between arterial and venous samples and quite frankly, seems a bit on the high side.
