COVID Testing Fact Sheets

We include a copy of the Patient Fact sheet, selecting English- or Spanish-language versions, in the Discharge instruction packet, generated by the EMR upon discharge, which includes a patient acknowledgement of the receipt of discharge instructions. We also provide a pop-up in the LIS (our otherwise POC establishment directly uses an LIS ... no middleware ... a challenge in its own right) to remind the person resulting the assay to distribute the Patient Fact Sheet in the appropriate language.
