Hi all,
Just in case you didn’t get the email/letter from Abbott and to save A LOT of headaches lol any CG4 cartridges that are shipped starting 10/5 (I believe) will need the CLEW41 installed to be used. Abbott released the new CLEW on 10/5 and if you have old cartridges they can be used with either CLEW but new ones only work with 41. I am usually late updating the CLEW but needed to do it early this time because we should be getting our standing order in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks for the heads up and sharing this information!
Yes, it could be easy to overlook the fact the new manufacturer product code CG4 cartridges will NOT work if your Clew hasn't been updated yet with the latest version. I admit I was more focused on the fact that Abbott was correcting the AMR on these cartridges and my iSTAT Rep called to ensure I was aware of this detail. I have already purchased enough of the "old" CG4 cartridges to last until my bio-med performs the update.
