EPOC PO2 IQC fails

Happy lab week everyone!
We have been working with Siemens on this issue of PO2 IQC errors. In 8 years I have never seen this error until this past December. I know at least one other hospital has gotten them and suspect it is more widespread. However, Siemens has not been getting any other cases reported. I was hoping some of you would not mind looking back to say September, sort your results by PO2 and see if you have been getting this error and note if it has only recently started showing up. If so can you please put in a report to Siemens? My concern is mostly in case this error pops on small sample volumes like from the NICU or hard to get collections.
Thank you Heroes!

Just pulled up the report. We do use this for NICU patient transport, in our Surgery Unit and on PICU transport. Our numbers for small sample types since September 2020 is only 116. Of that, none had the error you speak of. We did see three PO2 iQC errors since that date, 2 in Sept 2020 and one in Oct 2020. All had been run on adult patients, non capillary.
I just checked in Rals, and we only had a couple of iQC errors for PO2 since September 2020 - from the looks of the other results, it was most likely an operator or specimen issue as there were also other iQC and cnc errors on the same test. I couldn't find anything with just PO2 issues, and the errors are not frequent (maybe 3 or 4 since September). We run the full panel including BG in the NICU and CVOR, and our NICU uses mostly smaller samples (capillary). We use the orange test card. Hope this helps you narrow it down some.
Ok, Thanks for the replies!
