Hello,
Is anyone talking about upcoming flu season reagent budgeting/utilization at their institution?
We're trying to predict the amount of Abbott ID NOW influenza kits to add to our budgets. This last flu season was almost nonexistent. Australia's 2016 to current year data - while still early, it's looking like their current flu season may be a repeat of last year (link below).

Our Infectious Disease experts are also trending Australia's data - reflecting that Flu will be low, but RSV will be high, especially in older school aged children who traditionally wouldn't be affected. We have effectively cut our budget for Flu kits to 50% of 2019 usage as part of our strategy - assuming that testing may be performed but not positive or prevalent.
