Cornerstone Learning and RALS - Managing Large Volumes of Exam Dates

Hello,
At my institution we use Cornerstone quizzes as one of our elements of competency for our glucometer users. Our current practice is to enter exam dates into RALS one-by-one for each operator. I was wondering if anyone had discovered a better way to do this? I assigned our annual competency assignment earlier this month, and I already have 636 exam dates to enter.
Thank you!

That sounds untenable! I don't know if you have the budget for it but the eQuiz addon in RALS automatically renews staff certifications. Our institutions eQuiz settings for automatic recertification - acceptable values for the high and low glucometer QC performed within the previous 3 months (this variable is adjustable) and passing the Quiz. Currently using the eQuiz component for all Point of Care Testing exams - Urine pregs., Hemastix, CoaguChek, and Co-OX. The other tests are not interfaced to RALS therefore certification is not automatic but I have far fewer staff members to manually address.
Reach out to your RALS sales rep...the upfront cost may offset the FTEs performing data entry??
Good Luck

We use the Rals Auto-Rectification to handle the date changing. (Inform II Glucose) and i-stat has to be handled manually :-( but we don't have that many I-stat users.
With the exception of New-Hires which we handle manually.
Don't know if this helps, but wow, we only have about 1000 users, even so I remember the day when we did them all one by one "Not Fun"
Good Luck
We also use RALS with no interface to any educational component. The way we get around it for our largest group of users (AccuChek >1000 users) is to have the autocertification date the same for all users (ie, 5/31 of each year). They are autocertified in RALS if they have run at least 2 QC samples/year by 5/31. I have a Healthstream assignment that is due 5/31 each year, but of course we have no way of having RALS know if it is done. When they try to use the AccuChek after this date I usually get a call wondering why they cannot use it and it gives me the opportunity to check through our Healthstream system if they have also completed their Healthstream assignment. Not a great system, but the best I've come up with without an interface to Healthstream or the eQuiz add on in RAls, both of which would probably get rejected if I asked for them.
