Total transcutaneous bilirubin instrument

Good morning! Our L/D unit has a transcutaneous bilirubin meter and I'm having a hard time finding any information regarding it's complexity. I'd like to know if anyone out there in POC land has any experience with this type of instrument/reader.
Thanks in advance!!

'CLIA Exempt' label used to be used for these nonFDA classified for complexity since there is no specimen, not a 'lab test' (another hot topic has been breath hydrogen testing in GI).
In addition to (deemed) accreditation on the clinical use/nursing use side of these devices, if KY has additional state regs on lab testing, that may be something to look at.
Good luck!
One thing I will say, though- when they got a new device, we plotted a correlation for them between their results and results from our main COBAS analyzer. They did their own parallel study.
