AMR for GEM 4000

We just recently had our Joint Commission Inspection and they were very very through. I was wondering if anyone uses anything else to challenge the AMR ranges for the GEM's ? I am only the technical consultant for the pulmonary department and we are trying to find another product to use. If not then we are going to have to adjust all of our instruments. Thank you in advance for your help.

Not sure what you use but I use the IL PVP Performance Verification Product - 5 levels, 4 vials each level. It covers everything except for COHb, MetHb and O2Hb (Co-ox parameters). It does include the total Hbg. Never had anyone question using that product for the Gem 4000 for AMR.

We use GEM5000 instruments, but we use the same IL provided PVP. We use the GEMWEB server to reduce the instruments reportable range of what was studied in the AMR using the PVP. The PVP covers just about the same ranges from lot to lot, so adjusting GEMWeb is not needed everytime or that often.
