iSTAT PCO2 reportable range

For those of you using iSTAT, how high are you able to get your PCO2 reportable range up to? iSTAT states 130 but we have never been able to recover that with Eurotrol/cal ver.  We are at 97, and with so many COVID's I would really like to be able to get higher so that we don't have to repeat on Radiometer.  With a >97 PCO2 it causes the cartridge to have suppressed results and we have any cartridge with stars or suppressed results to stop in RALS.  I have one site that iSTAT is the only blood gas instrument so there is not anyway to repeat.  Love to hear your tricks!
Thanks

Eurotrol Hyperbaric controls should do the trick

We cut ours off at 99....

Hi Kim,
We use the Eurotrol Hyperbaric controls we can the PO2 range up to  640 as the high and 5 as the low. when you pop the top let it breathe for 30 seconds and you should not have a problem.

We do use  hyperbaric/hypoxic for PO2, but not seeing help for PCO2

What criteria are you using to determine the top of your reportable range? We were set at 95 for many years but had a request from RT to widen the range. Looking back at years of Eurotrol Veri-STAT Cal ver and the APOC cal ver, we were able to move the top of our range to 110 and consistently be within 15-20% of that goal, which my medical director felt was reasonable.

We have ours set at 103 and we use the TriControl Cal/ver for pCO2.

Our pCO2 limit is set at 100, also use the TriControl Cal Ver.  I didn't think Hyperbaric has ranges for pCO2 only O2.
