Network Lockouts

Is anyone having issues with the Nova meter firmware getting corrupted, trying to access the wireless network with a bad password, and locking out all of the meters? Our IT guys have a security feature that if an device that is not approved (or incorrect pw) repeatedly tries to access our system, the system shuts everything down. (I agree with the safety feature!) Unfortunately Nova is unable to tell us what causes it (possibly the user lets the batteries go dead) and there is no way to find the offending meter without resetting the facility for every meter until the issue goes away. Would love it if someone has a better way to resolve the issue or has been successful correcting the possible poor behavior.

I'll be interested to hear if anyone else has had this happen.
NOVA has always been helpful for any small glitch, problem, etc. we had.
We had been NOVA user since 2009. WE got our 2nd generation of NOVA meters in 2020. I am retiring in 45 days, so hopefully this monster you are talking about does not rear its ugly head before I leave. NOVA and TELCOR had been good about updating our versions of the software all the time and they get access to our server when they need to. .
Good luck and let us know the solution you found on your problem. .
