Would anyone be able to share their process for validation of replacement Accu-Chek Inform II meters?
One of our floors had a rough week and broke two of them.

Thank you,
Tracey

We do QC and linearity.

Hi
We have NOVA Stat meters (CLIA waived).
Laboratory Director's approved validation plan:
~Perform a linearity (5 Levels, minimum of 2 replicates) and both levels of QC.
This seems to be the standard practice for many hospital based glucometers.

Usually replacing one every other month and I'm at a small community hospital!

Thank you, Tammy and Amanda. I'm hoping this will be it for a while!

I do QC, Linearity and 5 patient comparisons on replacement meters. If it is a meter that was serviced by BIoMed here, I just do QC and Linearity.

We do a linearity and precision. We use the AccuChek linearity kit (6 levels, 2 trials), and run 10 trials of both levels of QC.

Thank you Patricia and Gloria!
