I was wondering who uses this for verifying education. The lab currently requests the diploma/transcript from the employee. This is very time consuming. We have to hunt the employee down and sometimes it is months before they finally provide it.
We want to move to a 3rd party, but here is my question. What does it look like for the inspector? Does HR have something in their file that verifies it? Is there a particular company that does this?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

We have automated this process and forced it on to Talent as part of the hiring process. They have to do a background check and verify licensure, etc anyway. They have a list of job codes that need this check for POC testing. I will attach the directions they must follow - they are expected to do their best to verify the correct info is already on the diploma, transcript, PSV before they upload it to our document storage system. I have access to view these and just pop
in there prior to giving anyone testing access. If I don't like what I see, I just email them and see what else they can find. Generally we are able to get
the correct documentation before taking the last resort and reaching out to the employee directly.
