Urine dipstick hemoglobin for the MH (malignant hyperthermia) cart

Does anyone have experience with this?  I assume this does fall under POCT and will require all the normal standards for urine dipstick testing (QC, training, competency, proficiency testing, etc).
How do you manage the training/competency when the cart could potentially be used by anyone in anesthesia and surgical services?   Also, there would need to be a QC log and patient log as well, correct?
Thank you!

As another  PT alternative to consider.....American Proficiency Institute (API). It is quite inexpensive and easy to facilitate.

Is urine being used as the specimen? Or is it a different body fluid?

Specimen would be urine.
