Training/Competencies for the POCC

Does your facility have a separate training/competency form for the Point of Care Coordinator for all instruments? Or do you just use the same training/competency forms as other staff? What about when a new POCC comes in..... do you have the vendor sign them off? Or does your Medical Director sign them off?
Anyone have POCC specific training/competency forms they are willing to share?

For orientation/competency of POCCs, we use the same forms we use for everyone else.
I am not familiar with your state law; but since POCC is not supposed to run and report Patient test/QC, There us no need for annual/ biannual competency in my state. I would think that there should be a general initial checklist for new POCC that proves he or she is trained and competent to perform POCC duties. Our jobs is to train/ audit and not to run / report patient test.
