Downtime SOP

Would anyone be willing to share their POC downtime SOP? I am trying to research what others are doing for downtimes as I am getting ready to adjust our current process. We currently use Telcor QML and Epic.
Thanks,

I'd be interested in this too. Telcor to Epic here as well. Following!
We simply state that results will chart after the LIS comes back on line. And in the mean-time, results are available on the testing analyzer.
Terry - What about extended downtimes, like the glucose meters that are set to lockout after not being docked for an extended timeframe?
We don't lock out glucose meters if they are not docked. What is the advantage of doing so?
Terry the advantage is with older meters to ensure that results would cross in a timely manner. With the newer wireless it isn't really necessary.
If the date of the result can be pointed to the date that the result was taken, depending on the HIS system, you can enable it as date of specimen received, or host sent date. so if it is set as the date the sample was taken, this would go correcltly in the records.
