Accuchek Glucometer Training/Competency question

I am looking into utilizing the HR integration/LMS modules for the Roche Infinity POC program.
Currently, set up from the previous POCC- the process is the new hire gets hands on training in a classroom with education services and this validation is entered into Lippincott. Then the user must take a quiz in Netlearning. Then the operator is manually entered into the middleware. They must run QC every year in the following years to remain competent.
Lippincott will not communicate with the Roche Infinity Program, so I am wanting to find a way to move this process to NetLearning so that it is more automated and less steps.
With HR integration, it will eliminate the need for manually entering operators and will add them in a pending state. Then once certain requirements are met (Quiz and running controls) it will automatically certify them. I thought about creating a separate training NetLearning Quiz for training that would be gone over with education during their classes or one on one, a yearly refresher lesson to be sent out annually to all operators to complete with their other hospital required annual assessments for other things (I figure this would cover those that let their certification laps and having ran controls within the year), then they just have to run controls within the year.
Am I overthinking this or missing anything?
