Temperature Corrected pO2 on Radiometer ABL90

I'm looking for some information on what others might be doing. We recently switched from a gas method that had wide ranges for hemoglobin fractions to a new method that has a narrower range and can give a <1 value. This makes getting a temperature corrected value difficult when using the formula that includes values for the fractions (carboxy or met-hemoglobin).

To those that use ABL90s: Are you temperature correcting? What formula (of the three options) are you using.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

We use the 90s but do not correct for temperature.  If providers really need a temp corrected gas, they send to the lab but I think even that is pretty rare.

Thanks so much for your response, Cindy. I am looking to follow the same thought and guidance. I appreciate your input.
Have a great rest of you week.

Our main lab and CVOR uses ABL90s and before that used ABL bench tops. We have not temperature corrected blood gases in many years. I'd have to check with our chemistry department for the reason behind this.
